Star of winds

The compass rose or the rose of the winds is one of the oldest symbols in history. It represents the origins of the winds, the compass points and the Pole Star. It has always been seen as a symbol of good luck for sailors setting out into uncharted seas. It represents, therefore, protection and guidance on approaching something unknown, but also the sense of freedom given by the winds and the iequilibrium ndispensible for finding the right path.
